Bentley Azure T: Large, Larger, Largess

Our resident Brit and estimable blogger Colin Ryan is all over this story like a cheap deerstalker. Bentley will debut its Bentley Azure T -- maybe the ‘T’ stands for ‘trebuchet’? -- at the 2008 L.A. Auto Show, which opens to the public Nov. 21. The performance version of the big Bentley convertible boasts staggering, I-feel-faint numbers: 500 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque wrenched from the manfire-cauldrons of a twin-turbo V8.

I only offer this modest entry to note that even Bentley’s product photos are massive. This exterior picture is a 12-meg file --shrunk to a handful of kilobites here for your entertainment -- and the interior, 23 meg. Never mind the gas, think about how much bandwidth this thing consumes!
