Hot Property: Perhaps the third time’s a charm for Nicole Murphy?

Nicole Murphy, the former wife of comic actor Eddie Murphy, has once again listed her Calabasas residence at $8,495,000. She had it on the market last year at the same price and in 2007 at $9,995,000.
The newly freshened Multiple Listing Service description of the 9,214-square-foot Spanish-style home bills it as ‘celebrity owned’ and ‘double gated.’ All the better to keep lookyloos at bay.
In light of price reductions elsewhere and the changes in the real estate market in the last two years, that 14.6% reduction is not horribly impressive. But maybe the seller is in no hurry.
