Hot Property: Model-turned-builder’s home in Pacific Palisades is for sale

Cathleen Gallagher, a Vogue cover girl who became a custom home builder, has listed her Pacific Palisades residence for sale at $4.25 million.

The 5,978-square-foot house, with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, was the first one she built herself. It was completed in 2003.

In Gallagher’s 90272 ZIP Code, 32 single-family homes sold in the first quarter for a median price of $2,025,000, according to MDA DataQuick. That’s a price drop of 5.8% from the first quarter of 2008.
