Gold: Trading now at $1,505 per ounce, up 0.4% from Wednesday. Dow Jones industrial average: Trading now at 12,480.10, up 0.2% from Wednesday.
Morgan’s morning. Morgan Stanley is the latest Wall Street bank to see profit fall from a year ago, but it still beat analysts’ expectations.
The Blacks. Competing investment firms Blackstone and BlackRock both reported rising earnings thanks to a rebounding real estate market and stock market.
Trump troubles. While Donald Trump considers a White House run, business folks who know him in New York are increasingly speaking out about his reputation for failure.
