Transportation Agency Gives Stimulus Money to 10,000 Projects

More than 10,000 transportation projects have been approved under President Obama’s economic stimulus package, according to a White House statement today.

The Transportation Department, which received $48.1 billion under the $787-billion stimulus package, has allocated 64%, or $30.6 billion, of the funds, according to the statement.
