President Obama is following his State of the Union address with a YouTube interview.

Obama spent about 40 minutes answering videotaped and written questions from YouTube users. The questions were submitted during and after last week’s nationally televised State of the Union address.

The questions covered familiar territory for the president, including healthcare, tax breaks for small businesses, and help for people losing their homes to foreclosure. Obama also was asked about U.S. policy toward Sudan and closing the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

When it was over, Obama said the interview was terrific and that he hoped to do them regularly.

The interview is available on the White House website.
