There’s a certain circularity to this little spat: It revolves around a FOX universe, where a cartoon program that knows few boundaries featured the character Chris on Sunday falling for a girl with Down syndrome. When he asked what her parents do, she said, ‘my mom is the former governor of Alaska.’ On FOX News Channel’s The O’Reilly Factor on Tuesday night, the real former governor of Alaska took exception to the FOX program’s joke about her youngest child, Trig.
