HOUSTON — The FBI says the fugitive daughter of a deceased Utah polygamist sect leader has been arrested in Honduras and extradited to Texas to face charges in a 1988 quadruple killing.

FBI Special Agent Shauna Dunlap said Jacqueline Tarsa LeBaron was arrested Thursday.

LeBaron has been wanted since 1992 on murder, witness tampering and other charges, the FBI said. Dunlap said LeBaron will face a federal magistrate Friday in Houston.

LeBaron, 44, is wanted in the slaying of three former sect members and the 8-year-old daughter of one of them, in Houston and Irving, Texas.

Her father, Ervil LeBaron, was convicted in 1972 of ordering family members to kill his brother. He died in a Utah prison in 1981.
