Palestinian Authority chief to visit White House

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will visit President Obama soon, the White House said Wednesday.

“The president looks forward to a visit from President Abbas in the near future. We’re just working out timing,” White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said.

The Obama administration earlier on Wednesday invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to meet Obama at the White House on Tuesday.
