Dalhausser, Rogers advance to beach volleyball semifinals

Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser beat Germany 21-13, 25-23 on Monday to secure a place in the beach volleyball semifinals at the Beijing Games. The defending world champions defeated Germany’s Eric Koreng and David Klemperer. They will play the winner of Spain and the Netherlands on Wednesday.

Jake Gibb and Sean Rosenthal, the other U.S. team, will play Brazil later on Monday.
