Lost in Vancouver during the Olympics? Getting tired of the bobsledders and want to see the city for a day?

Online travel resource Lonely Planet has made its Vancouver Travel Guide: The Sights application for iPhone and iPod Touch available for free in Apple’s App Store until March 1.

The program contains more than 70 sights to check out. Thanks to built-in Google Maps, users can easily navigate to the city’s hot spots.

Among Lonely Plan’s choice things to see are the UBC Thunderbird Arena, the Pacific Coliseum, the Vancouver Art Gallery and the Capilano Salmon Hatchery.

You can also fool friends into thinking you’re a geography genius or a closet native with the included Vancouver fun facts.
