A federal judge in Oklahoma City has apparently broken new ground in the Recording Industry Assn. of America’s three-and-a-half year campaign of lawsuits against file-sharing piracy. He granted a defendant’s request that the RIAA pay her attorney fees. Turns out she wasn’t the one sharing songs on Kazaa -- that was her daughter. Read more at the Bit Player blog.
