Earlier this week, Seema Mehta reported on a new ad set to hit the airwaves by Jerry Brown’s union allies.

The ad, paid for by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, has been talked about for weeks, but no signs of the ad itself had materialized. Until now.

AFSCME just posted the $2-million expenditure on the secretary of State’s website. And media buyers confirmed to PolitiCal that the ad was scheduled to run for one week, beginning Friday.
