The last of the Thursday night comedies to get picked up at NBC is ‘Scrubs,’ the single-camera doctor show that has been nominated twice for an Emmy and has been shifted around the primetime schedule so many times that the executives involved have lost count. ‘I think it’s about 20-something different time slots’ over six seasons, mused one exec this afternoon. Not funny! Not funny at all for creator Bill Lawrence and company, who have endured it over the years with big fat smiles on their faces. No word yet on whether ‘Scrubs’ will keep its highly coveted Thursday night slot but the deal is for a final 18-episode season. Star Zach Braff, who has been nominated for one Emmy and three Golden Globes for the role, will return.
