NEW YORK -- The big announcement today out of Discovery Communications’ upfront presentation: Jennifer Lopez is starring in a new ‘docu-series’ about her life for TLC.
The show, which is currently in production, will give viewers a glimpse into the lives of Lopez and her husband, singer Marc Anthony. The series follows Lopez as she balances raising her newborn twins and launching a new fragrance. The singer-actress co-created the series and serves as co-executive producer.
‘I am excited to be part of the TLC family,’ Lopez said in a statement. ‘I’m looking forward to sharing this exciting journey together.’
That’s not the only power couple TLC is bringing on. Talk show host Kelly Ripa and her husband, actor Mark Consuelos, have agreed to a first-look deal with the network for unscripted shows produced by their production company. As part of the agreement, Ripa will host one of the series.
