It’s ‘Hawaii-Five-0’ to you, thank you very much

We don’t mean to make your brains hurt, but we need to clear the air.

CBS sent out a release clarifying that the title of its ‘Hawaii-Five-0’ remake contains a zero and not the letter ‘O.’

Which is confusing, right? Because when we talk about this show, we don’t say, ‘Hey! CBS remade ‘Hawaii-Five-Zero.’’ We say ‘Hawaii-Five-Oh.’ Because we’re cool like that.

And we thought the whole business with ‘$#*! My Dad Says’ was confusing. In case you didn’t know, that title is pronounced ‘Bleep! My Dad Says.’

Is CBS inventing its own language? Isn’t it hard enough to develop good shows?
