Jennifer Lopez loooooooves her new ‘American Idol’ gig.
How much?
Listen to her tell the hosts of CBS’ new female chat fest, ‘The Talk,’ on which she was a guest Tuesday.
‘I’m loving it. It’s so much fun. Exactly what I thought it would be. I did it because I thought it would be fun and I’d get to be in one place. It’s been great. I love everybody. It’s such a machine. It runs like clockwork. I looooove Nigel.
‘I love Ryan contrary to whatever you say. I love Steven. I love Randy. Everything’s great.’
In case it’s not painfully obvious, the Nigel she loves is executive producer Nigel Lythgoe. The Ryan she loves is host Ryan Seacrest. The Steven she loves is judge Steven Tyler. And the Randy she loves is judge Randy Jackson.
What’s hard about the gig, the hosts of ‘The Talk’ wanted to know?
‘It’s easy when they’re really good,’ she said. ‘And it’s easy when they’re really bad ‘cause you just go, ‘No.’ It’s when they’re in the middle. They have a good voice but they don’t have the ‘it’ factor or they have a look and kind of have a vibe to them but their voice isn’t all the way there.’
‘The Talk’ premiered on Monday with Christie Brinkley as a guest to decent but not over-the-moon ratings. The show’s hosts are Sara Gilbert, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini, Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen and Marissa Jaret Winokur.
