This week’s TV Movies

SUNDAY

From its creamy caramel and fluffy nougat insides to its milk chocolate outsides, the new special “Inside the Milky Way” samples the popular candy bar that — wait, what? Oh, the galaxy. Got it. From its swirling center to its starry fringes … . (National Geographic, 6 and 9 p.m.)

Caws for concern: If you think crows are just black-clad, birdbrained clods, then you’ll be eating, well, crow, when a new episode of “Nature” explains that our fine feathered friends are among the smartest and most resourceful critters around. (KCET, 8 p.m.)

MONDAY

Gabriel Byrne is back as Dr. Paul Weston on the return of “In Treatment.” Debra Winger signs in as one of the patients trying the good doc’s patience, while “The Office’s” Amy Ryan plays the therapist’s therapist. (HBO, 9 and 9:30 p.m; also Tue.)

TUESDAY

It’s astounding! The kids from “Glee” take on the campy sci-fi/horror midnight-movie musical “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” and the best part is, you don’t have to stay up past your bedtime to watch. With Chris Colfer, above left, and Dianna Agron. (Fox, 8 p.m.)

WEDNESDAY

No Dodgers. No Angels. As of press time, it’ll be the National League’s Philadelphia Phillies or San Francisco Giants versus the American League’s New York Yankees or Texas Rangers when baseball’s Fall Classic, a.k.a. the World Series, gets underway. (Fox, 4:30 p.m.)

THURSDAY

After the season finale of “Project Runway,” it’s the debut of the unscripted series “The Fairy Jobmother,” in which career specialist Hayley Taylor helps the unemployed pull themselves up by their proverbial bootstraps. (Lifetime, 9 and 11 p.m.)

FRIDAY If the phrase “I got a rock” conjures up disappointing hauls from Halloweens past, then you’ll know it’s time for the Peanuts gang to get their trick-or-treat on in the classic animated special “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” (ABC, 8 p.m.; also Thu.)

SATURDAY

Lycanthropes beware! “The Guild’s” Felicia Day is “Red: Werewolf Hunter,” a modern-day descendant of Little Red Riding Hood tasked with dispatching those grandma-munching meanies in action fable. (Syfy, 9 p.m.)
