Bravo gives viewers more to watch, expands programming slate

When it comes to watching what happens, Bravo is about to give viewers a lot more to look at.
The network announced Thursday at the TCA press tour a slate of new — and returning — programs to its schedule. And there’s something for all your needs: from throwing dinner parties and navigating the maternity world to writing the perfect hit song — if that’s your fancy.
Here’s a look at what your DVRs are likely to be filled with in the coming months:
“Platinum Hit”: Worried how you’ll get your Kara DioGuardi fix now that she’s not shelling out her opinions on “American Idol”? We thought so. Don’t fret. You can watch her do it on this singer-songwriting reality competition series hosted by Jewel. (Summer)
“Million Dollar Decorators”: This series will show you the lifestyles of the chic and talented as viewers get an inside look at some of L.A.’s hottest high-end interior decorators. (April)
“Pregnant in Heels”: Maternity concierge Rosie Pope (remember, she’s the blond lady who helped “Real Housewife” Bethenny Frankel prepare for motherhood?) helps pregnant Manhattan women navigate pregnancy and motherood — everything from planning baby showers to organizing photo shoots of the expectant mothers. Gee, we sure wish Phaedra (“Real Housewives of Atlanta”) had sought her advice. We could have been spared the “boughetto” baby shower and pickle-centric photo shoot. (April)
“Rocco’s Dinner Party”: “Top Chef.” “Dancing With the Stars.” “The Biggest Loser.” He’s the Ryan Seacrest of the foodie world. Now Rocco DiSpirito is hosting this series about chefs who will compete to throw the ultimate dinner party for him and his friends. (Later this year)
And then there are the returning favorites, including Season 4 “Million Dollar Listing” (Feb. 3), “The Real Housewives of New York” (Feb. 15), “The Real Housewives of Orange County” (March 6), and “Watch What Happens Live,” hosted by Andy Cohen, on Tuesdays and Sundays.
In addition, the network confirmed the new season orders for “The Rachel Zoe Project,” “Flipping Out” and “Work of Art: The Next Great Artist,” and after getting hitched, Bethenny Frankel returns with her newly titled series “Bethenny Ever After” (Feb. 28). And following a stellar finale showing, a fifth season of “Millionaire Matchmaker” is in the works.
Firey-head Kathy Griffin will also make a return with four comedy specials, and Donny Deutsch will offer love advice (yes, love advice! What a ‘Big Idea’!) during an interactive live special tentatively titled “Love Calling” (Jan. 27).
Exhausted yet? Wait. There’s more.
Casting will begin on the ninth season of “Top Chef” … and “Top Chef Master” will return for a third season this year with a new host, the Quiet Terminator, a.k.a. Australian chef Curtis Stone.
