American Idol: The competition enters the Hollywood round in this new episode (8 p.m. Fox).

The Office: As Valentine’s Day comes to the Scranton offices of Dunder Mifflin, the public displays of affection between Holly and Michael (Amy Ryan, Steve Carell) make everyone else just a bit uncomfortable in this new episode (9 p.m. NBC).

Parks and Recreation: Tom (Aziz Ansari) tries to even the score with Ron (Nick Offerman) by going on a date with Ron’s ex-wife (Megan Mullally, Mrs. Offerman in real life). Amy Poehler and Rob Lowe also star in this new episode (9:30 p.m. NBC).

30 Rock: Avery (Elizabeth Banks) goes into labor while she and Jack are vacationing in Canada, in this new episode (10 p.m. NBC).

Beyond Scared Straight: Four teenagers headed for serious trouble get an eye-opening look at what life behind bars is like at San Quentin, where they suffer the taunts of inmates from their overcrowded cells and later hear prisoners telling them that there’s violence waiting around every corner (10 p.m. A&E).

Ace of Cakes: “Back to the Future” celebrates its 25th anniversary with a very special cake in this new episode (10 p.m. Food).
