Friends With Benefits: An ex-girlfriend of Aaron’s (Zach Cregger) gets engaged to someone else, and he’s depressed, so Ben and Fitz (Ryan Hansen, Andre Holland) take him out on the town to cheer him up in this new episode (8 p.m. NBC). A second new episode follows at 8:30.

Karaoke Battle USA: This new series follows some genuinely talented singers through trials for the Karaoke World Championship. Carnie Wilson, karaoke champion Brian Scott and Joe Levy judge the competition. Joey Fatone hosts (9 p.m. ABC).

Strike Back: A disgraced former U.S. Special Forces officer (Sullivan Stapleton), joins with a secret British military unit to fight terrorists in this new action series (10 p.m. Cinemax).

SPECIALS

Lavell Crawford: Can a Brother Get Some Love? “Last Comic Standing” runner-up Lavell Crawford stars in his debut stand-up special, and no subject is taboo (11 p.m. Comedy Central).

MOVIES

The Joneses: A seemingly innocent family have all their new neighbors striving to emulate them but they’re not a family, they are a stealth marketing unit whose sole purpose is making people want — and buy — what they’ve got. David Duchovny, Demi Moore, Amber Heard and Ben Hollingsworth star in this 2009 comedy (8 p.m. Showtime).

It Happened One Night: Director Frank Capra’s delightful 1934 comedy swept the Oscars, taking home major awards: best picture, director, actor, actress and writing. It’s the story of down-and-out newspaperman (Clark Gable) who has the story of his life literally fall into his lap: a spoiled heiress bride (Claudette Colbert) who is on the run (8:30 p.m. TCM).

Little League baseball: World Series: Mid-Atlantic Regional semifinals (8 a.m. and noon ESPN); West Regional semifinals (2 and 8 p.m. ESPN2); Southeast Regional final (5 p.m. ESPN).

Baseball: The Angels visit the Toronto Blue Jays (4 p.m. FSN); the Houston Astros visit the Dodgers (7 p.m. FS Prime).

Arena football: Arena Bowl XXIV (5 p.m. NFL).
