Anderson Cooper couldn’t contain himself on the air Wednesday night regarding actor Gerard Depardieu’s now-infamous urination on an Air France plane.

Cooper, anchor of ‘Anderson Cooper 360,’ was adding Depardieu to his ‘Ridiculist’ for the Tuesday misadventure on a Paris-to-Dublin flight on which the actor reportedly urinated on the floor of the plane’s cabin while it was on the ground in Paris before takeoff.

Cooper began with a series of puns: The actor had ‘created his own jet stream’; ‘I wonder if he flies Incontinental’; it was Depardieu’s ‘No. 1 role.’

But when he referred to ‘Depar-doo,’ he broke, leaning to the side in his chair, snickering uncontrollably and wiping his eyes.

It was a long moment before he could continue. The episode served as a lesson for the CNN audience, who discovered that a 44-year-old news anchor can giggle like a 12-year-old.
