Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, who has become a media sensation with his team’s string of dramatic come-from-behind victories, will talk with ‘The NFL Today’s’ lead play-by-play announcer, Jim Nantz, prior to the Broncos’ highly anticipated Sunday showdown with the New England Patriots. The show airs at noon.

The Broncos, who were in last place after a 1-4 start, decided to start Tebow at quarterback, and he has led Denver to seven wins in eight starts. The team is now in sole possession of first place in the AFC West. Telow’s nail-biting fourth-quarter play in the last four victories has sparked a nationwide phenomenon: ‘Tebow-mania.’

Due to Tebow’s popularity, CBS and NBC battled it out to determine which network would carry the Broncos-Patriots matchup. While CBS is scheduled to broadcast the game Sunday afternoon, NBC wanted it for its prime-time game and was pressuring the league to no avail to make CBS give it up.
