Baron Davis: He’s not heavy, he’s a Clipper

Can’t wait for this press conference. Baron Davis is going to reveal on Friday how much weight he has lost with Jenny Craig.

OK. But how heavy was he that he had to go on a weight-loss program? The NBA’s Baron Davis Info Page listed him at 215 pounds during the 2007-08 season.

Is this going to be one of those Andruw Jones deals where the franchise player turns out to be bigger than expected.

On the positive side, a PR guy called today to let me know about the press conference, so I’m guessing they wouldn’t be hyping the appearance unless Davis had lost weight.
