Seventh heaven for Angels?

What was I saying yesterday about the ‘soft underbelly’ of the Red Sox, and managing the 7th inning? Whereas Wednesday night’s best managerial move was Terry Francona running a high-pitch count Jon Lester out for the 7th, tonight’s worst move was having Hideki Okajima do the same against the heart of the Angels’ order. As I post this, the decision hasn’t led to any runs, but in any case it made no sense, and led to two sharp singles.
