Barack Obama loses the BBWAA vote

We didn’t really do the polling of Baseball Writers Assn. of America members, but, as one of them, I can guarantee you they are not happy that the start of Game 6 of the World Series (if necessary) will be delayed for a Barack Obama commercial.

Deadlines are tight enough as they are, especially for my colleagues on the East Coast and in the Midwest.

To keep this as apolitical as possible, I can guarantee you they would feel the same way if it were John McCain, Joe Biden, Sarah Palin, Ralph Nader or SNL’s Tina Fey buying the time.
