Golden Boy Promotions has a major announcement scheduled tomorrow afternoon in a conference call.

Oscar De La Hoya is going to bring in Hall of Fame trainer Angelo Dundee as a consultant as the Golden Boy trains in Big Bear for his Dec. 6 147-pound fight against Manny Pacquiao at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

De La Hoya already has Hall of Fame inductee Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Beristain to train him, but it certainly won’t hurt having the wisdom of the 87-year-old former cornerman for Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard around.

This is speculation until the announcement becomes official, of course.
