Cal Poly’s Ramses Barden attracting attention at Senior Bowl

There are always a few players in each NFL draft who come from virtually nowhere to make an impact. One of those players this year could be Ramses Barden.

Not that Cal Poly is literally nowhere. It’s in San Luis Obispo, after all. But in terms of big-time college football, that’s virtually nowhere.

Barden is from Altadena and went to Flintridge Prep. The wide receiver is making an impression on scouts during workouts for Saturday’s Senior Bowl.

The Sporting News is mentioning Barden in the same breath with Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree.
