USC’s Brian Cushing impressive at Senior Bowl workouts

The Sporting News lists USC linebacker Brian Cushing as one of the standouts during workouts this week in Mobile, Ala., for Saturday’s Senior Bowl.

The workouts are heavily attended by NFL scouts, who, according to the Sporting News, are seeing a linebacker in Cushing who has solidified his first-round status because of his ‘freakish athleticism.’’

USC wide receiver Patrick Turner also has attracted positive attention.
