Here’s some of what NBC Tonight Show host Jay Leno had to say about Super Bowl XLIII during Friday night’s monologue:

Are you all ready for the Super Bowl? Cardinals vs. Steelers. Very exciting. I tell you, I’m torn. I’m not going to decide until gametime whether I’m going to wear my red snuggie or my black snuggie.

It’s going to be close. I have a hard time picking a winner. You know what I usually do? I usually go with the team that had the fewest arrests during the week before. Fewest strip club arrests. I’ll go with that team.

Here’s some Super Bowl trivia: Cardinals starting quarterback Kurt Warner is the third-oldest starting quarterback in Super Bowl history. Is that a good omen? Recent history has not been kind to old guys from Arizona trying to win something.
