UCLA likely to be without Keefe

UCLA enters tonight’s game at Stanford knowing it could be without the services of forward James Keefe.

Keefe twisted his back during the Bruins’ morning shootaround in Palo Alto. He received treatment throughout the day but, just mintues before tipoff, informed the trainer that he was not feeling better.

The junior from Rancho Santa Margarita began the season as a starter but eventually lost his spot to Nikola Dragovic. He was averaging more than 15 minutes a game.
