Veteran MMA fighter Ken Shamrock has tested positive for metabolites of three types of steroids and the California State Athletic Commission has suspended him from fighting through next February, barring appeal.

Shamrock, 45, a former winner of the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s superfights, tested positive during last month’s WarGods events in Fresno for anabolic agents norandrosterone, noretiocholanolone and stanozolol, according to CSAC official William Douglas.

He has also been fined $2,500.
