Robert Horry, who won three NBA championships with the Lakers and seven total, paid the Lakers a visit after their hard-fought, 102-96 victory over the Houston Rockets.

When Horry strolled by Lakers Coach Phil Jackson, Jackson stopped a post-game interview and hugged Horry.

Horry, who lives in Houston and won three titles with the Rockets, was asked if he wanted to help the Lakers in their game Thursday night in San Antonio because Lamar Odom would be just coming back from a one-game suspension.

‘No sir,’’ said Horry, who hasn’t officially said he was retired.

Horry then entered the locker room with his son, Cameron, and introduced him to Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher.

‘Hey, little man,’’ Bryant said to Cameron. ‘When are you going to play me in some one-on-one?’’

Cameron laughed.

‘Hey, those stories your dad told you, they are all true,’’ Bryant said. ‘He was won of the best clutch shooters of all-time.’’

Fisher hugged Horry.

‘My night is great now,’’ said Fisher, a teammate of Horry’s for eight seasons. ‘I’ve seen my dude now.’’

Then Horry slipped out of the locker room and made his way to his car.

‘It was fun seeing those guys,’’ Horry said. ‘But it didn’t make me think about playing again.’’
