There is no escaping the NCAA basketball tournament for President Barack Obama. That’s what happens when you fill out a bracket on ESPN. People pay attention.

According to a pool report, before President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama left the White House on Marine One for Camp David at 11:20 this morning, a reporter from Bloomberg yelled: “Is the ACC overrated?” The president said with a smile, ‘Apparently so.’

As you can see from his bracket, Obama predicted the Atlantic Coast Conference would go 6-0 in the first round. But Boston College, Wake Forest and Clemson all lost and Maryland is already out today.

Too bad nobody asked whether or not he has changed his Pac-10 opinion. The President had them 1-5 in the first round instead of 5-1.
