Lance Armstrong released a video Thursday afternoon where, while he was sitting in his kitchen, spoke about his Wednesday surgery to repair a broken collarbone. He even showed a computer image of the plate and 12 screws that were inserted.

Armstrong gave no further hints, though, on whether he will ride the Giro d’Italia May 9. Armstrong broke his right collarbone into four pieces Monday in a fall at the Vuelta a Castilla y Leon, a race where his Astana teammate, Levi Leipheimer, leads.
