Pooh Richardson under investigation

Say it ain’t true, Pooh.

The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that former Clipper and UCLA basketball star Pooh Richardson is the target of a federal probe for obstruction of justice.

Authorities believe that Richardson may have tipped suspected Philly drug kingpin Alton Coles about a police raid hours before it happened, acting on information from a boyhood friend who now works as a detective in the Philadelphia Police Department. Richardson’s half sister is believed to have been living with Coles at the time.

The Inky made several attempts to reach Richardson, who was reportedly a no-show at a charity event last weekend here in Pasadena.
