OK, so Stephen Strasburg is not invincible.

The San Diego State junior right-hander is 13-0 and has a fastball that has been clocked at more than 100 mph. But that did not seem to matter to Virginia in the home half of the first inning of an NCAA regional game at UC Irvine.

After Strasburg struck out leadoff batter Jarrett Parker, designated hitter Phil Gosselin hit the first pitch he saw off the scoreboard in left field for a home run and a 1-0 lead.

It was only the fourth homer surrendered by Strasburg in 103 innings this season. The Cavaliers got two more hits in the inning but could not score again.
