Manny Ramirez struck out in his second plate appearance today for Class-A Inland Empire, taking a called third strike from Rancho Cucamonga starter and Cal League All-Star Alexander Torres.
Ramirez is playing in front of his fourth sold-out crowd in four minor league games. The 66ers’ mascot, Bernie, is among those wearing a Manny wig.
