Ron Hornaday Jr. set a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series record by winning his fifth consecutive race. He won the truck series race at Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday to extend the record the driver for Kevin Harvick Inc. set the previous week at O’Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis.

The Nashville win was also the 45th of his career, another record.

Patrick Long, a driver from Thousand Oaks and a veteran sports car racer in the American Le Mans Series, won the first NASCAR race of his career on Saturday. He won the NASCAR Camping World Series West race at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah. Jason Bowles, a driver from Ontario, finished second and maintained his lead in the West Series standings.
