UCLA freshman fullback, tight end transfer from Notre Dame to practice today

UCLA freshman fullback Jayson Allmond has been certified by the NCAA Clearinghouse and will practice today. Allmond, listed at 6 1/2 feet tall, 257 pounds, is from Bloomington High School.

Also practicing today will be sophomore tight end Joseph Fauria, a transfer from Notre Dame. The 6-foot-7, 260-pound Fauria, a former standout at Encino Crespi, will have to sit out the 2009 season due to NCAA transfer rules. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
