Their first pre-season game is less than a month away (Oct. 7 to be exact), which means it’s almost time for the Lakers to start defending their NBA title.
But how well will they do this season? Some teams lose their edge after winning a title (though it’s hard to imagine a team with Kobe Bryant doing that). Some teams come back motivated to win another and add to their legacy.
