Ron Hornaday Jr. finished sixth in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday night and lost 20 points off his lead in the Truck Series standings.

Hornaday shouldn’t be too worried about losing a bit of his lead to Matt Crafton, the second-place driver in the Truck Series standings. Hornaday has a 197-point lead with five races remaining in the Truck Series standings.

Johnny Sauter won the Truck Series race in Las Vegas, the first of his career. He became the first rookie to win a Truck Series race since Scott Speed did it at Dover International Speedway in Delaware on May 30, 2008. Sauter is considered a rookie in the Truck Series despite three wins in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
