Derek Jeter has some advice for Nick Swisher

Outfielder Nick Swisher had played in three postseason series with Oakland and the White Sox before coming to the Yankees in a trade in December.

But now that he’s in pinstripes, Swisher is virtually a playoff rookie compared with teammates such as Derek Jeter, who has played in more than 120 postseason contests.

‘We have so much experience in that department,’ Swisher said.

‘We have so many guys who have been there and so many who have done that. It’s a lot easier to listen to someone who has been there and done that.’

And what playoff advice did Jeter have?

‘He said to just relax,’ Swisher said.
