Checking in from a snowdrift in Philadelphia...

Despite a day-long deluge of heavy snow here Saturday, the game, indeed, is going on. Philadelphia 76ers Coach Eddie Jordan said to some of us before the game: ‘If the TV trucks are here in the back, we’re going to play.’

The Clippers led, 30-18, after one quarter, shooting 58% from the field.

Early in the second, the Clippers are up, 41-29. Baron Davis has 11 points, and Chris Kaman nine.

For the 76ers, Thaddeus Young has 10 points. Former Clipper Elton Brand, coming off the bench, has four points.

Unfortunately, Allen Iverson (left knee) is still out, cutting down on the entertainment value.
