Here’s how that crazy hockey game between the Ducks and Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night turned out: The Ducks won, 5-4.

The Ducks scored two goals in the first 1:53 of the game took a 4-0 lead only 10:26 into the first period, then watched it wither.

Buffalo scored two goals in the first minute of the second period and trimmed the lead to 4-3 at the 6:12 mark when Steve Montador cashed in after the Ducks’ Todd Marchant lost the puck on a pass from defenseman Steve Eminger behind the Ducks’ net.

The score didn’t change until 4:07 remained in the game, when Ducks rookie Troy Bodie jumped on a Buffalo turnover in the slot and converted a wide-open shot for only his second career NHL goal after scoring his first Sunday.

Jochean Hecht added a late goal for Buffalo, but the Ducks held on.

Jonas Hiller was once again the star in the net for the Ducks, making 41 saves.
