World Cup: Uruguay vs. the Netherlands

And we’re underway in Cape Town, South Africa, in the World Cup semifinal between Uruguay and the Netherlands.

Uruguay, in the semifinals for the first time in 40 years, was among the favorites coming in.

To get here, the team had to hold off Ghana in a thriller on Friday that went to penalty kicks. The Dutch beat Brazil surprisingly easily on Saturday to make it this far.

The winner goes to the final.
