Tennessee passed on Moss in the 1998 NFL draft, choosing instead to take Kevin Dyson.

Coach Jeff Fisher said three hours before the waiver deadline that the Titans never discuss personnel moves or their interest. But he says everyone would know around 4 p.m. EDT Wednesday.

Moss can help a team that has not won a playoff game since January 2004.

Receiver Kenny Britt hurt his right hamstring last week and will miss the Titans’ game Nov. 14 at Miami.
