Pac-12 football: Professor Lane Kiffin holds court

There was no coach at Pac-12 football media day better organized and prepared to talk about his team than USC’s Lane Kiffin.

He sat with quarterback Matt Barkley and proceeded to talk on and on about everything involved with the Trojans’ program except who his team’s managers are.

He joked after his opening statement that he had spoken so long there wasn’t any time for tough questions. But give Kiffin credit. He was thorough and provided media with superb information about where USC’s program stands.
