Gabrielle Union throws Dwyane Wade a birthday bash

Actress Gabrielle Union threw her Miami Heat superstar boyfriend Dwyane Wade a 30th-birthday party at the Setai Hotel in South Beach on Sunday. Clearly, it was quite a party; days after the event it’s still trending highly on the Internet.

The bash was reportedly filled with celebrities, including Usher, Rick Ross, T.I. and, of course, many of Wade’s teammates.

To make the night complete, singer Kelly Rowland serenaded the birthday boy with a seductive version of ‘Happy Birthday,’ according to the Huffington Post.

Too bad his teammates didn’t assist Rowland and act out the lyrics, as they did for the Heat’s 2011-2012 music video of ‘Turn Up the Lights.’

Among the gifts Wade received were a 2012 McLaren MP4-12C, a vintage 1982 bottle of Dom Perignon and a diamond encrusted Hublot 3000 watch.

Wade’s grandiose week could come to an abrupt end Thursday evening when Kobe Bryant and the Lakers play the Heat in the teams’ first game this season.
