Alex Pham has been a newspaper journalist for more than 20 years, covering technology and entertainment for the Los Angeles Times, the Boston Globe, USA Today, the Washington Post and her hometown paper, The Oregonian. In addition to writing stories for the newspaper’s print edition, she also produces and edits video for the Web and regularly writes for several of the Times’ blogs, including Pop & Hiss, Hero Complex, Company Town and Technology. She currently covers digital content and interactive entertainment.

Alex is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where she studied international relations and economics and has a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Texas at Austin. In 2009, she was named Entertainment Journalist of the Year by the Los Angeles Press Club.
